Hello!

Welcome to my personal website. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver in the Department of Integrative Biology.
I am interested in all things found in the forest: the insects, flowers, trees, and fauna.
The goal of my research is to understand processes that impact the environment and forest health.

I recently earned my Master of Science degree in the Ragland Lab. Our lab is interested in the process of local adaptation, particularly in response to seasonal variability. We work to understand the mechanisms and targets of natural selection, integrating studies from genomes, to physiology, to whole organism performance.
My thesis work focused on the spruce beetle impacting Western forests.

Alongside my research, I am interested in advocating for diversity in science, technology, engineering, and math.
